The 30th French Alumni Executive Committee was elected to office at the Annual General Meeting held on 29 March 2010 at the Alliance Francaise de Singapour.

Terrence SIM Kwang Hor

Nanyang Polytechnic - Foreign Language Centre, School of Engineering
In charge of the French Section, Terrence teaches the language and organizes cultural activities for his students form L’Hexagone French Club. Since 1991, he has held various appointments in the French Alumni Executive Committee. He is a Board Member of the Alliance Française de Singapour and an Exco Member of the Association des Professeurs de Française de Singapour. In June 2006, Terrence was decorated by the French government with the Chevalier dans l’Ordre des Palmes Académiques.

Angeline NG Feng Sheng
Angeline has degrees in French Language from the University of Caen and was posted to France as General Manager of ASIA Lyon for two years. She was assisting French companies in setting up their businesses in Singapore when she was the Deputy General Manager of the French Business Centre for five years. She is currently working of for the French Regional Police Attaché office (SCTIP) in the French Embassy. Angeline has served 22 years in the Exco and was the 10th President of the French Alumni, serving from 1998-2000. She represents the French Alumni for the Alumni International Singapore (AIS) serving as Assist. Hon. Treasurer.

CHIN Ying Duan
Ying Duan graduated with a Master degree (DEA) in International Relations from Université Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne). She works as Corporate Communications Manager at Royal Caribbean Cruises (Asia) Pte Ltd. Ying Duan served in the Exco for several years.

LIM Boon Chye
Boon Chye graduated from l'Ecole Superieure d'Informatique in 1985 and is now the Principal Consultant at Excelle Consulting Private Limited, a management consultancy firm he has founded in January 2003. Prior to that, he was Director of Technology Consulting for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young (SE Asia).

Brandon LI
Brandon graduated with an Engineering degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He also spent a year in École Nationale des Ponts and Chaussées, Paris, on a student exchange programme. He is now working as an engineer in the Land Transport Authority of Singapore. He is serving his second term in the Exco and as Honorary Treasurer for the first time.

CHAN Wing Keong
Wing Keong is a graduate of Ecole Centrale de Paris and has Masters of Science degrees in Industrial Engineering from the National University of Singapore and in Aeronautics & Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is currently the director of Air Accident Investigation Bureau of Singapore with the Ministry of Transport. Wing Keong was the 6th President of the French Alumni (1991-1993).

Sarath MANUKULARATNE
Graduated with a Mastered (en Techniques dès Hélicoptères) from ENSICA (Toulouse) in 1990 and with a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from NTI/NUS in 1988. He was with RSAF (Air Logistics Squadron [ALS] & Air Logistics Department [ALD]) from 1988 till 2001 and his last appointment held was Head Rotary Wing Section (Structures) (ALD). From 2001 till the present he is with SIA, initially with Technical Services Department as the A380 Structures Lead Engineer as well as the Airbus Fleet Structures Lead. Currently, he is with SIA’s Technical Projects Department overseeing the A330 programme management.

ONG Jeun Jye
Jeun Jye is an engineering graduate from Ecole Nationale Superieure d’Arts et Metiers and has a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Leonard TAN Peng Yeow
Leonard is a Principal Member of Technical Staff at DSO National Laboratories where he is doing R&D on radars. Previously, he was working for Groupe Schneider in France. He is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and Sup Telecom Paris. He has spent a total of 14 years in France. He has a keen interest in all aspects of Maths, Science and Technology. His hobbies include chess, xiangqi and weiqi. He is also interested in bridge, backgammon and other games with a significant strategy component.

WEE Sher Yen
Sher-Yen's love for the French language started at 17 when she was on a European tour with her family. After the trip, she immediately enrolled in an accelerated course at the Alliance Francaise and continued learning French while as a student at the University of Oregon, where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism. For many years now, she has been working closely with the French community and is on the Board of the Alliance Française. Sher-Yen is currently Director, Communications & Partnerships of The Old Parliament House Limited.
